Day 1City Tour of Cusco

Upon your arrival in Cusco, you will receive a warm welcome from our professional and amiable representatives, easily recognizable by the sign displaying your surname. Our modern van, equipped with air conditioning, will provide a comfortable transfer to your delightful hotel in Cusco.

Once you arrive at the hotel, a pre-briefing session will be conducted, enlightening you about the upcoming itinerary, and you will be furnished with all the necessary vouchers for your forthcoming adventure. The morning will be at your leisure, allowing you time to relax and adjust to the altitude.

In the afternoon, your hotel pick-up will commence the captivating half-day City Tour of Cusco. Our exploration begins at the San Cristobal Plaza, affording breathtaking panoramic vistas of the city. Next, we proceed to the vibrant San Pedro Markets, immersing ourselves in the local ambiance and discovering the diverse produce that sustains the entire region.

The visit to the Koricancha Temple is particularly fascinating, as its name in Quechua, the native language, translates to “Gold Enclosure,” hinting at its former splendor when it was entirely adorned with gold. Day 5Cusco – Cloud Forest- Paradise Lodge

We commence our journey from Cusco in the comfort of our spacious bus, making our way towards the charming town of Paucartambo. En route, we have the opportunity to explore the ancient burial towers of Ninamarca, built by the Pre-Inca civilization.

Continuing through the awe-inspiring cloud forest, abundant with a rich variety of flora and captivating orchids, we embark on our initial hiking adventure. This presents us with the chance to witness the splendid Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola Peruviana), the national bird of Peru, as well as monkeys and an array of bird species.

Day 6Paradise Lodge – Palotoa Amazon Lodge

After a delightful breakfast, the group will be transported by the bus to the Atalaya port, marking the commencement of our thrilling adventure. From there, we will embark on a motorized boat that will navigate the Alto Madre de Dios river, transporting us to Our lodge in approximately 3 hours. If you wish, you can take a refreshing swim in the river along the way.

The lodge provides all the necessary amenities, including toilets, a kitchen dining room, showers, and comfortable rooms equipped with beds and mosquito nets. Throughout our journey, you will be captivated by breathtaking landscapes and have the opportunity to bask in the pleasant tropical climate of the rainforest.

In the afternoon, we will embark on a jungle exploration walk lasting around 2 hours, where we will encounter intriguing creatures such as spiders, tarantulas, and other crawling insects, as well as various bird species, monkeys, and medicinal plants. For the night’s rest, we will be accommodated in a traditional lodge, offering private rooms with showers, toilets, and comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Day 7Palotoa Amazon Lodge (Exploring)

We will embark on an extensive trail system within the jungle, with a small day pack containing our lunch. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of wildlife, including monkeys, collared peccaries, and a variety of birds such as eagles, parrots, and toucans.

Our path will lead us through areas abundant with medicinal plants and towering giant trees. If time permits, we may even have the chance to swim and fish in the inviting waters. As darkness falls, we will embark on a quest to spot the gleaming eyes of caimans.

Our comfortable lodge will provide accommodation for the night, where we can unwind and relax. Later in the evening, we will gather around a bonfire to enjoy a delectable BBQ meal accompanied by refreshing beverages.

Day 8Palotoa Amazon Lodge – Atalaya Port – Cusco

On this day, we will rise early and after enjoying a satisfying breakfast, we will board a motorized boat that will transport us to the watchtower port. From there, our awaiting vehicle will whisk us away to the city of Cusco.

Along the journey, we will traverse through the enchanting cloud forest and majestic mountains, eventually reaching Cusco in the afternoon. The car will then transport each individual to their respective hotels.

Day 9End of our service
