Orchids and primitive ferns abound, and this region is proud to be home to the Andean cock-of-the-rock, Peru’s national bird. Upon settling into the lodge, we will embark on an invigorating hike along pristine jungle trails. During this three-hour expedition, you will have the opportunity to observe various medicinal plants. The local inhabitants rely on these natural remedies, and our guide will provide insights into their uses.

Furthermore, this region offers a chance to encounter large animals in their natural habitat. Following the hike, we will return to Soga de Oro lodge for a satisfying lunch prepared by our skilled local chef, featuring authentic Amazonian flavors.

Afterward, you will have some leisure time at your disposal. As the evening approaches, we will embark on a memorable voyage aboard a traditional wooden raft, where you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of bird species. Subsequently, we will return to the lodge for a delightful dinner.

For those who desire an extraordinary experience, an optional night safari to observe caimans will be available after dinner.
